BloombergNEF (BNEF) and Project SkyPower Confirmed Co-hosts at Sustainable Aviation Futures Congress

New for this year at Sustainable Aviation Futures Congress - we are delighted to announce our partnership with stream co-hosts,
BloombergNEF (BNEF) and Project SkyPower.

BloombergNEF (BNEF) will be joining us as co-hosts for our stream on Financing SAF: Creating Market Certainty & Investment Opportunities to uncover the key themes on the critical financial and policy frameworks that will drive SAF adoption and scalability, including structuring offtake agreements, cost model analysis and EU ETS and financial incentives.

BloombergNEF (BNEF) is a leading provider of strategic research on the pathways for the power, transport, industry, buildings and agriculture sectors to adapt to the energy transition.

As Europe looks to accelerate production and distribution of e-fuels, Project SkyPower will be joining as co-hosts for our stream on SAF, eFuels, Power-to-Liquids and hydrogen to bring together industry leaders across the world to demonstrate the capabilities of collaboration, industry knowledge and accelerating technologies to meet the 1.2% SAF mandate by 2030.

Project SkyPower is a CEO-led initiative with a vision to make e-SAF a commercial reality this decade. Bringing together 50+ members from across the energy and aviation value chains, SkyPower is driving forward its mission to pave the way for the first large-scale e-SAF projects in Europe to reach Final Investment Decision by the end of this year. Since its origination in 2024, Project SkyPower has brought together and aligned the ecosystem, building a common  understanding around the true cost of e-SAF, the current barriers to investment and the solutions to resolve them, culminating in a 10-point action plan published in an insights report in October 2024. This year, the initiative and its members are focused on delivering impact, and driving forward the first 5 short term actions identified focused on establishing regulatory certainty, securing public funding, securing long-term offtake agreements, and de-risking first projects. With bold action and strategic collaboration from our members, SkyPower aims to accelerate the take-off of e-SAF in Europe.
